The Word:

Prayer:
Wow, God. It seems so logical, yet society has told us
that a bigger house, a nicer car and a better job and position are the
measuring sticks for greatness. The
requirement of leadership is not external, yet I’ve assumed that if someone
looks the part or has the right stuff on the outside, that they have an
“in”. Have you called me to
leadership? Help me to know. Help me to not judge or be judged on the
outward, but the inward. You living in
me is what matters most, and as You work in my life,
help me to know your calling for me.
Sometimes it seems so obvious, and at times, I’m so confused.

List areas of potential
leadership in your life, or areas that you are currently leading. Check your motives. Are they for position and status, or to
serve?
